Ophiuchus was placed in the sky by Zeus.
Asclepius as guide.
Asclepius, son of Apollo, had become so gifted in the healing arts that he could bring people back from the dead using snake venom and herbs. Hades complained that souls were no longer arriving in the underworld so Zeus struck Asclepius down —
and then, in reverence, lifted him into the stars forever holding the serpent that taught him everything.

Snakes were thought to be connected to healing and rebirth because they sloughed their skins every year.
The one who masters the serpent — who holds transformation in both hands without flinching — becomes the healer.
The one who cannot be controlled by death itself. This is the evolved self.
